Can I start off (once again) by naming our ongoing and very much continuing and collective… heaviness right now?

Let me invite you into some Sunday morning rituals & reflections of mine. Our once thriving local Gurdwara packed full of sangat, with its distinct cultural hustle and bustle, a something, something to tantalise every bodily sensation.

They call it the golden hour; because it is when the sun is between six degrees below the horizon and six degrees above. It occurs during the rise and fall of the sun, it is closer to the subject, and it is also moving through the atmosphere at a much lower angle than usual, producing this soft diffused light.

Right now, the world feels harsh doesn’t it? The desire to curl up and close the curtains to it all feels a little too real, please read on for some sprinklings of hope and maybe (dare I say it) even joy…
