 What you would be getting:

  • SIX x 60-minute monthly, virtual coaching/supervisory sessions

  • Reflective observational field work in between sessions; to encourage a continued focus on the topic and to cultivate personal accountability & responsibility

  • A space where you can unfold, unravel and deeply exhale with someone that truly ‘gets it’

The ways in which I work

  • Holding a safe, non-judgemental space for whatever came up for you (would not bypass comments or discussions that are relevant). This can be in regards to you personally, your case-load or your wider professional/personal goals.

  • Integration with your own/family/cultural/spiritual context: specific space is allocated to allow you to think and openly discuss how these issues are showing up for you.

  • To encourage self-interrogation in the ways in which individuals (you & others) and the wider culture may be upholding dominant systems of oppression based on biases, colonial mindsets & entrenched belief systems and ultimately how this affects you.

  • Each session will start with a grounding/breathing exercise to centre oneself and to encourage full presence throughout the session. All sessions are built with an intention of safety and trust with mindful check-ins throughout to allow individuals to connect back in with themselves, especially as we delve deeper where topics can be personally emotive.

  • I always finish with a grounding meditation to decompress from the session

The intention of these spaces is to predominately hold space for whatever comes up for you.  But to do that in the context of a deep understanding of the pervasive and violent nature of white supremacy and colonialty has and continues to have on you both in your professional but also personal life.

The wider goal is to allow you to benefit and develop a toolkit in order to manage yourself in potentially uncomfortable and traumatic discussions/situations.

Topics likely to arise:

  • Recognising how to navigate your own multiple identities’ and how this shows up for you in your everyday life.

  • How the pain, rejection and experiences of racism or being ‘othered’ has impacted (and continues to) impact you.

  • To support you to deconstruct and decolonise where and who you place value on so that you can reclaim power through ancestral wisdom.

  • To support you to continue to unlearn some of your own internalised racism and oppression so that you can begin to build freedom and liberation from everything that no longer serves you.

  • To continue to step up and take up space unapologetically!
